Acid Tongue, who split their time between Seattle, Brooklyn and L.A., find the sweet spot between psych-rock and garage, and ride that wave as far as they can take it. They’re planning to release their new record, Babies, Get Free, sometime in the near future, but until then, they’ve dropped a nice appetizer in the form of their new 7″, from which we’re premiering “Careless” today. It’s a warped eight-minute journey that shows off all the things the band excels at — namely songs with a fair amount of build-up and craziness. It’s a smooth journey that sometimes dips into heaviness, indicating that Acid Tongue could pull off being a doom band if they wanted to take it there. READ MORE…
