May 2017 Client Sampler Featuring Radiator King, PLS PLS, and Moonsville Collective

We’ve put together a Spotify playlist for May of some of our favorite tracks from our current client roster for you to check out.  Here are just some of the highlights…

“Ghost Dance”  Radiator King

A Hollow Triumph, After All, is getting tons of accolades. It’s is a genre-bending album, combining folk-punk, anthemic rock & roll, and indie-Americana with the somber yet celebratory spirit of a New Orleans funeral second line. Featuring Brian Viglione (Dresden Dolls, NIN, Violent Femmes) & Franz Nicolay (The Hold Steady, World/Inferno Friendship Society) and channeling Tom Waits & Springsteen’s Nebraska, A Hollow Triumph After All, is a celebration of a life well-lived, all the while acknowledging the harsh truth that we’re born to die.

 “Fools”  PLS PLS

Longtime Atlanta-scene staple, producer/engineer & PLS PLS frontman Dan Dixon has shared bills with artists such as The Strokes, And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead and Gardens & Villa, and three of his songs appeared in cult horror film V/H/S. PLS PLS’ video for “Cocaine” also racked up over a million views (before it was flagged as pornographic and removed from YouTube), and rock ‘zine Stomp & Stammer has described the band’s sound as “Radiohead meets Joy Division.”

The Los Angeles Americana/indie-folk outfit has shared bills with the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, The White Buffalo & Chuck Ragan, has been featured at PopMatters, CMT, American Songwriter, No Depression, The Bluegrass Situation & more, and were voted best live band by OC Weekly.

“Alright by Me”  Moonsville Collective

Following on the heels of Moonsville I (the first installment of the band’s new four-volume EP series), Moonsville II (out April 21) casts these “purveyors of California good times” into more pensive waters, finding common ground between the slightly frayed, heartfelt ballads of The Avett Brothers and the stomping hootenanny-esque showstoppers of artists like Trampled By Turtles and Old Crow Medicine Show.
