Mail the Horse featured at Nooga.com’s ‘Notes From Left of the Dial’

rsz_color-7568“Brooklyn-based eclectic country five-piece Mail the Horse is a band displaced, a group of individuals whose experience and influence exist outside the normal flow of musical history. Their sound is grounded in the woozy country rock of bands like Blitzen Trapper and Deer Tick, but they also wouldn’t have sounded out of place alongside acts like The Flying Burrito Brothers and The Band. They evince a natural ease when approaching this hallowed sound, as if they were born to wade through these bucolic waters.
